Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has once again secured its position as the "Top MICE Tourism Destination in Asia" at the World MICE Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year the city has received this prestigious accolade.
On the evening of March 6th, at TP Berlin, Germany, the World MICE Awards ceremony took place, where HCMC was proudly recognized as the "Best MICE Tourism Destination in Asia for 2023." This achievement underscores the city's enduring appeal and recognition on the global stage.
The award is the culmination of a year-long search and voting process to identify the world's leading MICE brands, with the winners determined through votes from industry experts and the public.
Mrs. Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, expressed her pride and shared that this award not only validates HCMC's capabilities and attractiveness as a prime destination for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry but also reinforces the city's position internationally.
"We are extremely proud to receive this award, which is a testament to the relentless efforts and contributions of the city's tourism sector. The World MICE Awards serve as a significant milestone on our journey towards our goals, reflecting the international community's confidence in the potential of HCMC's tourism industry," added Mrs. Hieu.
Mr. Graham Cooke, President of the World Travel Awards, commended HCMC as a special destination, rich in history and diverse culture, a vibrant and colorful metropolis.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism stated its commitment to continuously improving MICE infrastructure and services to attract more international events and strengthen HCMC's leading position on the regional and global tourism map.
Simultaneously, HCMC aims to become the top destination in Asia by 2030, embodying the image of a city that is "Open-minded, Youthful, Dynamic, Enthusiastic, and Future-oriented."
