Pu Luong is a nature reserve located in the northwest of Thanh Hoa province, about 160 km from Hanoi. With an area of 17,662 hectares, this area is home to the Thai and Muong ethnic communities.



The name "Pu Luong" in Thai means "the highest peak of the village". This place converges dense forests, large and small waterfalls, caves and mountains interspersed with peaceful villages and green terraced fields every summer.

How to get to Pu Luong


From Hanoi, visitors can follow two routes: through Mai Chau, Hoa Binh and then go to Co Luong, Dong Dien; or along the Ho Chi Minh route, passing Cuc Phuong, then Cam Thuy and in the direction of Na Meo international border gate. If from Thanh Hoa city, visitors can also choose the Ho Chi Minh trail.
